Taster Lecture: “Legal Connections in a Globalised World” from Professor Peter McEleavy, Professor of Law at the University of Dundee
March 24th, 2021 at 18:00 EST (15:00 PST)
Professor Peter McEleavy is a leading expert on Conflict of Laws. He will give a flavour of what the study of law is like at the University of Dundee through a presentation which explores the complex but highly relevant issue of how people can / should be connected to a country / state for the purpose of litigation.
This will be an interactive opportunity for students to experience a university level lecture and take part in discussion with Professor McEleavy and fellow attendees. Great for both learning more about how we teach Law in Dundee, and could be used as evidence of experience too when applying to universities!
