Studying Law at University of York

You are invited to an exciting online event with the University of York on May 28th at 5PM EST.

This webinar will be an introduction to York Law School and its unique approach to teaching and learning. In this interactive session students will work with York Law School students to understand a real client problem. The event will involve an introduction to the Law School and its student Legal Clinic by the Director of Professional Practice at York Law School, Stephen Levett. You will then watch an interview of a client about a boundary problem they are having with their neighbours. In the course of this session, you will have the opportunity to assist with the interview of the client and express your view on the strength of the client’s case. You will also get to see a first draft of a client advice letter and be able to compare it with the final version that the client receives. Throughout the event there will be opportunities for you to comment, make suggestions and ask questions.

You will receive a follow-up email with some reading to prepare you for this event.

Please note that this webinar will be recorded.

We look forward to welcoming you to this session!
