The Law School

Brunel University is a campus university on the outskirts of London.  Brunel Law school has its own dedicated building, allowing you to be surrounded by fellow law students and academics who are focused on your education. The building has its own classrooms, research spaces, IT suites, and social areas. Brunel Law School also has its own moot court where you can practice your skills in speaking and presenting and arguing your case for a jury. The library at Brunel University London has a dedicated law section with its own librarian; you have quick access to books and journal articles, as well as more specific access to particular databases, covering all your study needs.  
 

Employability

Brunel Law School has strong industry links, allowing us to offer placements in a variety of legal environments to strengthen your learning and professional experience. With our own law careers adviser and pro bono coordinator, we will help you to work on your future career from day one and gain useful experience. As a Brunel Law School student, you have access to many workshops and masterclasses to gain the knowledge you need to make your first steps after you graduate.  There are also some specific Law projects for you to work on Digital Human Rights Ambassador Programme, and the life changing Athens Refugee project. 

Our students are encouraged to take advantage of the many opportunities available to enhance your employment prospects and can join the Brunel Law Society as well as access many other extra-curricular activities that can be Law based or not. 
 

Life on our London Campus 

Located in West London, the campus is beautifully maintained, set within leafy surroundings, and with great travel links too - just 20 minutes from Heathrow airport and 40 minutes from central London. The town of Uxbridge itself has major shopping complexes, boast a wide range of shops, cafes and a nine-screen multiplex cinema.

With everything within a 10-minute walk, the campus provides all you need in one place. You’ll find all the essentials including shops, medical centre, bank and pharmacy. Our regular market offers street food, fresh fruit and vegetables, bread and homemade cakes. You’re never far from a place to sit down and catch up with friends, with plenty of cafes on-site, including Costa and Starbucks.  

The Union of Brunel students are dedicated to providing you with round-the-clock entertainment on campus and offers you over 150 clubs and societies to join. In addition, there are plenty of campus events for you to enjoy throughout the year including film nights, fireworks and the Neon 5K run. 
 

Accommodation

We guarantee on-campus accommodation for the duration of studies for all our International students. We offer a range of rooms to suit different budgets, including en suite and standard self-catering facilities, specially adapted rooms for disabled students and studios for couples.
