The School of Law at Queen Mary University of London has been ranked 3rd in the UK and 1st in London in the Guardian University Guide2015 subject league tables. In the National Student Survey (NSS) 2016, the School scored 91 per cent for student satisfaction.
In 2015 the School of Law celebrate 50 years of law at Queen Mary University of London. Established in 1965, the School of Law has grown from 30 students and four academic staff, to 1,939 students and 115 academic staff in 2014-15.
The School of Law has as its central focus the role of law and its institutions in contemporary international society and it is divided into two organisational units: the Department of Law and the Centre for Commercial Law Studies (CCLS).
The Department of Law covers the full spectrum of legal studies and is based at the University's Mile End campus.
The Centre for Commercial Law Studies (CCLS) specialises in the knowledge and skills in commercial law that can be placed at the service of government, public bodies, overseas institutions, the legal profession, industry and commerce. CCLS is based in the graduate law centre at the Lincoln's Inn Fields campus.

Queen Mary offers a range of LLB and LLM degrees. If you are interested in the 3 year LLB Degree you can enter directly from high school and you will undergo two years of core law and one year of electives. If you have completed an undergraduate degree you can apply for the two year accelerated LLB degree which consists of two years of core law. The specialized LLM is a twelve-month course and allows you to specialize in a field of law.
