UCAS clearing

UCAS CLEARING:
We can still help you apply to law school!

While the official UCAS deadline (June 30th) has passed, there is still an opportunity to apply for a Fall 2022 start if you’re still interested in studying law as soon as possible.  Canada Law From Abroad can help you navigate UCAS Clearing, which is the United Kingdom’s application process after their main June 30th deadline.

The UCAS Application

WHAT IS UCAS?

UCAS is the UK’s official application portal for undergraduate (bachelor) degrees.  As students can apply for law school after high school, this includes any law applications.

An essential element of the free service we provide is helping students with the UCAS application. Canada Law From Abroad is here to help you ensure that your UCAS application is completed not only correctly, but also in a manner that presents you, the candidate, in the best light possible.

What did you do before you started working for Canada Law from Abroad?

I joined Canada Law from Abroad right after completing my own PhD in Law at Queen Mary University of London,

Why did you decide to study in the UK?

After completing my bachelor’s degree, I was ready to study in a new country. For me, the UK was a no brainer as the UK created the common legal system, which was important as Canada’s legal system is based on British common law.

Why do you like working for Canada Law from Abroad?

Working with our partner universities in England, Northern Ireland, and Scotland affords you the opportunity to learn about each university in detail and what students can expect to experience when they go to the UK. As an advisor, I have been fortunate to visit several of our partners’ campuses, meet their staff and students, and share my own experience to future applicants.

Why do you think people from Canada should study in the UK?

Studying and living abroad is a fantastic opportunity, especially in the UK, one I think everyone should experience if given the chance. You will receive an excellent education but you also get to meet people from all parts of the world and the life experience you gain is unrivalled.

Afternoon tea, Harry Potter, Sherlock Holmes and English gardens.

Scotland universities

STUDY AT UNIVERSITIES IN SCOTLAND

One of four constituent nations which make up the United Kingdom, Scotland is a small but multicultural society with just over 5 million people. The main language is English, although Scotland’s mother tongue, Gaelic, is still spoken in the North and West of the country. Scottish people are famously friendly, people from all over the world have been coming to live in Scotland for centuries, so you can be sure of a warm welcome when you come and study here.
