Fantastic Application Experience

I applied to both Canadian and British schools. The difference in the process is like night and day. Between studying, writing the LSAT and completing my application for Canadian schools I spent around $1000 and countless hours. Applying to schools in the UK through Canada Law From Abroad cost me under $50, and took less than two weeks from my first inquiry to completing the entire process. Vivian was incredibly helpful, responsive, insightful, and patient. I received more support in two weeks applying to UK schools than in the months I spent studying, taking the LSAT, and completing my application.

I would highly recommend Canada Law From Abroad for anyone even considering applying to UK schools.

Thank You!

As a fourth year at the University of Toronto, making that last home run, I knew that writing the LSATs and applying for law schools while classes and midterms run, would be no easy task. But upon a friend’s invite to come along to the information session of Canada Law From Aboard in September of last year, I gained a new sense of direction in terms of the application process for the UK and knew that I would get clear guidance for the next couple of months.

By contacting Canada Law From Aboard, I not only received those things, but so much more. My wonderful advisor helped me with the application process, provided me with great advice on what universities worked best for me and suited my academic goals, answered millions of my questions within 24 hours of my email, presented me with reassuring suggestions and recommendations when it came to making difficult decisions, and moreover was simply a great support throughout the entire process. Her great guidance and advice helped me complete not only the applicaiton process, but also the visa process and other formalities in a organized and calm manner.

Even after having been accepted to every university I applied to, Canada Law From Aboard was along side me in every step of the way, reminding me of deadlines, start dates for university formalities and every such other detail. With their great help, I can confidently say that the last year has been made tremendously easy for me, and as I head off to law school, I could not be more thankful to Canada Law From Aboard for their all help.

Great Professionalism, Care and Patience

I could not be happier with my decision to attend the University of Birmingham (LLB for Graduates) in pursuit of my Law Degree. Looking back to the early months of last year, I was very ambivalent towards the idea. However, as soon as I reached out to the CLFA team, my concerns were immediately calmed. Merika and her team took great professionalism, care and patience in assisting me with a process that I initially found to be very overwhelming. Their knowledge of the process was very assuring, and took a great deal of stress off my shoulder!

I have settled into life abroad very comfortably. The campus is beautiful, and the staff and academic community is and have been always very welcoming and supportive. I have met some great people, and have had the opportunity to take part in various talks. events and organisations which I have found invaluable to my experience as a law student. It is without hesitation that I would recommend the CLFA team and the experience of attending Law School abroad to anyone. It has given me a much greater perspective as both a person and a professional, and although I have only been abroad for a short period, I already have a much greater understanding of where I see myself going with a career in Law.

I wish to again say a big THANK YOU to Merika and the rest of her team at CLFA. I am very appreciative of all the help, support and information that was provided to me!

Great Help

CLFA has been a great help in guiding me throughout my process of attending law school. Before and during my application, I received immediate assistance from the very helpful consultants. After having completed my first year of Law School, my CLFA advisor still kindly puts in effort into attending any questions I may have. Much appreciated!

Thank you, CLFA for helping me on my life's greatest journey!

I can't tell you how much you've changed my life. Once I decided to go back to school after 7 years away, a recommendation from another CLFA grad led me to you. I was able to receive fast, comprehensive information, and actually obtained clearing position at Birmingham within 1 month of inquiry.

The transition to the UK was painless, because of your help. All I had to manage was the excitement. Now, I'm completing my final year, having completed a local internship at the court house, and with valuable pro bono experience, where I've been able to help hundreds of people who can't afford access to justice.

Thank you, I had no idea what I was capable of, and because of your help, I can be my best self, and do the most good.

A lively student life

tessa

Why did you choose to study at the University of Southampton?
It was placed well on an international scale and had multiple accommodation choices. It’s also in a safe area and has a lively student life.

What were your first impressions of the University of Southampton?
I found the campus easier to navigate around than I had feared. The uni also had a surprising amount of societies and clubs which was an added bonus!

What do you enjoy the most about living in Southampton?
I love that Southampton perfectly combines the old school harbour town which the uni was founded on with updated modern facilities. I also enjoy the amount of parks and picnic areas available!

What is your favourite spot on campus?
Valley Gardens! So few students make use of this beautiful area which is a perfect place to enjoy lunch or a morning coffee!  Second favourite would be the koi fish pond in the psychology building! Another hidden treasure to relax between lectures.

What has been your proudest accomplishment while you were in Southampton?
Making so many friends from different backgrounds and actively engaging in as many societies as I could find time for!

Would you recommend the University of Southampton to students from your home country? If so, why?
Yes, because of the wonderful staff that work hard to make internationals feel at home, the multitude of societies that guarantee you’ll find something you enjoy and the social events organized by the uni to ensure we meet others and can engage fully during our studies here!

What will you do with your degree after you have finished your studies?
My degree has helped me go into an exclusive MBA/Masters in International Hospitality program in the Netherlands that is ranked 4th in the World and only accepts 25 people a year!

Do you have any stories about your time in Southampton or a happy memory you want to share?
If you’re a business student I can highly recommend going to the week cakes/coffee meetings! Not only do you get free food but you get the chance to network with experienced business men and women and get to know the staff outside of lecture which I find helps immensely when it comes to having them as your supervisors!
