Does it get any better?

Canada Law from Abroad assisted me in the whole process of applying to law schools in the UK.

I was fortunate to meet my advisor in person in one of CLFA's downtown Toronto sessions in the fall of 2017 where she provided me with a detailed account of how CLFA operates and what I can expect from the team. To those who can make it to one of these sessions, I highly recommend attending them and setting up an appointment! My advisor was extremely helpful in providing me a shortlist of law schools that catered to my specific needs. Furthermore, she was always there whenever I had questions and concerns and always kept me up to speed with my applications assuring me to not worry.

Fast forward to 2020, I have successfully graduated from York Law School and am now pursuing my NCAs to start the ball rolling to get my feet in the door in Ontario! I highly recommend students pursuing law school in the UK to approach Canada Law from Abroad!

York is one of the nicest cities in the UK

Headshot of Zachary wearing glasses and plaid shirt

My experience has been great. The size of the city (York) makes it very convenient to get around easily, yet still has the energy you'd expect from a big city. The city itself is an awesome place to walk around and enjoy some down time, but the University of York campus has everything you need, as well. I have always enjoyed the small-town community feel, and York has that in spades.

The course has been well organized, and the problem-based approach to learning has made the material beneficial to post-university employability. The University's Roses competition is pretty cool and brings a community vibe to the school.

I chose the University of York because of its reputation and the city itself. York is one of the nicest cities in the UK and I wanted an interesting place to live while I continued my studies overseas.

I'd like to thank Canada Law From Abroad, particularity Vivian my student advisor. Without your help I could have never had the smooth process that I did. With help with my personal statement to advise on schools and encouragement I was accepted to York! I'm very exited for my journey in the UK!
