What did you do before you started working for Canada Law from Abroad?

I joined Canada Law from Abroad right after completing my own PhD in Law at Queen Mary University of London,

Why did you decide to study in the UK?

After completing my bachelor’s degree, I was ready to study in a new country. For me, the UK was a no brainer as the UK created the common legal system, which was important as Canada’s legal system is based on British common law.

Why do you like working for Canada Law from Abroad?

Working with our partner universities in England, Northern Ireland, and Scotland affords you the opportunity to learn about each university in detail and what students can expect to experience when they go to the UK. As an advisor, I have been fortunate to visit several of our partners’ campuses, meet their staff and students, and share my own experience to future applicants.

Why do you think people from Canada should study in the UK?

Studying and living abroad is a fantastic opportunity, especially in the UK, one I think everyone should experience if given the chance. You will receive an excellent education but you also get to meet people from all parts of the world and the life experience you gain is unrivalled.

Afternoon tea, Harry Potter, Sherlock Holmes and English gardens.
