Intro

Brunel Law School is a diverse and vibrant community where you will be supported in your studies and encouraged to develop your skills for your future career.

For nearly 50 years students from the UK and over 100 countries have made Law at Brunel University their first choice.

Brunel University is a campus university on the outskirts of London. Brunel Law school has its own dedicated building, allowing you to be surrounded by fellow law students and academics who are focused on your education. The building has its own classrooms, research spaces, IT suites, and social areas. Brunel Law School also has its own moot court where you can practice your skills in speaking and presenting and arguing your case for a jury. The library at Brunel University London has a dedicated law section with its own librarian; you have quick access to books and journal articles, as well as more specific access to particular databases, covering all your study needs.

Brunel Law School has strong industry links, allowing us to offer placements in a variety of legal environments to strengthen your learning and professional experience. With our own law careers adviser and pro bono coordinator, we will help you to work on your future career from day one and gain useful experience. As a Brunel Law School student, you have access to many workshops and masterclasses to gain the knowledge you need to make your first steps after you graduate. There are also some specific Law projects for you to work on Digital Human Rights Ambassador Programme, and the life changing Athens Refugee project.

Our students are encouraged to take advantage of the many opportunities available to enhance your employment prospects and can join the Brunel Law Society as well as access many other extra-curricular activities that can be Law based or not.

The Brunel University campus is located just 45 minutes by underground from Central London. Students are able to explore and enjoy London, with everything that this great capital city has to offer without the expense of living in Central London.

A minimum score of GPA 2.8/4, GPA 5.5/9 or 70% from a well ranked higher education institution.

Law degrees at Brunel University London

The Brunel LLB Law with International Arbitration and Commercial Law gives students the opportunity to earn a qualifying law degree with specialised knowledge of international arbitration and commercial law.

Along with the requirements of the traditional LLB degree you’ll learn commercial, international and comparative law and about cross border transactions and cross-cultural dispute resolution.

We offer two study options. You can choose three years full time, or four years full time with a professional placement between years two and three that will give you hands-on experience working in a legal practice.

All of our students have careers advisers who you can discuss career ideas with and who can offer guidance on placements and further study options throughout your time with us.

With its foundation of English law and practice and its focus on arbitration and commercial law your degree will stand you in good stead for lucrative cross-border fields of legal practice.
