My experience has been great. The size of the city (York) makes it very convenient to get around easily, yet still has the energy you'd expect from a big city. The city itself is an awesome place to walk around and enjoy some down time, but the University of York campus has everything you need, as well. I have always enjoyed the small-town community feel, and York has that in spades.
The course has been well organized, and the problem-based approach to learning has made the material beneficial to post-university employability. The University's Roses competition is pretty cool and brings a community vibe to the school.
I chose the University of York because of its reputation and the city itself. York is one of the nicest cities in the UK and I wanted an interesting place to live while I continued my studies overseas.
